The RAM 6000 cellular RTUs from Sixnet LLC, Ballston Lake, NY, provide a flexible, secure platform to remotely monitor and control assets across industries such as oil and gas, power and energy, and water/wastewater. The RTU uses a built-in Modbus gateway to interface with existing RTUs and PLCs, providing real-time access to data from pumps, valves, reclosers, transformer capacitor banks, and meters. An I/O concentrator lets you locally collect sensor data to optimize bandwidth by reducing polling cycles. A Web-based user interface provides I/O, network, and security configuration and an integrated firewall provides intrusion protection and secure data access. An onboard software development kit lets you optimize custom applications.
