The fourth generation TRIPLESHIELD CA30CA capacitive proximity sensors offer greater immunity to dust, humidity, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) than previous generations. The components include diagnostic alarms and two LEDs for simpler troubleshooting during installation. Ready for deployment in harsh environments, they provide IP67 and IP69K protection, ECOLAB approval for chemical resistance, and withstand temperatures up to +120°C. An optional temperature alarm output warns the user if the sensing face surface exceeds +60°C. Specifications include a sensing distance of 2 mm to 20 mm flush or 4 mm to 30 mm non-flush, an operating voltage from 10 to 40 Vdc, and NO & NC, NPN or PNP, 200 mA transistor outputs.
