Lion Precision, St. Paul, MN, has expanded its capacitive probe selection with new 3 mm, 18 mm, and 25 mm probes that offer improved long-term stability, resolution, and temperature drift. The 15 mm long by 3 mm dia. probes provide measurement ranges down to 10 µm with resolutions <1 nm. The 18 mm and 25 mm probes provide measurement ranges up to 12.5 mm while maintaining resolutions as low as 125 nm. The 3 mm C3S and C3R probes are available in 10, 25, 50, 80, and 100 µm ranges; the 18 mm C18 probe is available in 2, 3.2, or 5 mm ranges; and the 25 mm C25 probe is available in 8 and 12.5 mm ranges.
