Bus Bar Connectors Address 48V Designs

TE Connectivity’s latest 48V bus bar connectors and cable assemblies are designed to meet next-generation 48V application requirements including the Open Compute Project (OCP) Open Rack Standard V2.0 designs. The components allow for a single vertical bus bar to be used in the rack, simplifying the overall system design. Current-generation 48V solutions enable lower power consumption than 12V solutions, and the same connectors and cable assemblies can be used in a variety of data center applications including power, battery backup units and cubby shelves. This versatility allows customers to purchase fewer types of products, simplifying inventory control.

Visit TE at the OCP Summit at booth B23 to see these 48V bus bar connectors and cable assemblies and many other existing products. For greater insights, take a ride on the bus bar page.
