TE Connectivity’s latest 48V bus bar connectors and cable assemblies are designed to meet next-generation 48V application requirements including the Open Compute Project (OCP) Open Rack Standard V2.0 designs. The components allow for a single vertical bus bar to be used in the rack, simplifying the overall system design. Current-generation 48V solutions enable lower power consumption than 12V solutions, and the same connectors and cable assemblies can be used in a variety of data center applications including power, battery backup units and cubby shelves. This versatility allows customers to purchase fewer types of products, simplifying inventory control.
