Models SA-220RHT and SA-225RHT from Columbia Research Labs Inc., Woodlyn, PA, are force balance accelerometers designed as measurement while drilling (MWD) sensors for downhole well service applications. Featuring rugged construction, high-temperature performance, and low power consumption, the sensors can be used for downhole high-temperature mapping and are completely self-contained. The sensors provide a high-level, low-impedance output and weigh 3.34 oz. The Model SA-220RHT operates from ±15 VDC and in temperatures up to 200°C while the SA-225RHT operates from ±5 VDC and in temperatures to 190°C.
