Melexis, Concord, NH, offers the MLX90324 rotary position sensor IC with high-temperature performance and integrated support for the SENT protocol. The Triaxis triaxial Hall-effect sensor implements the SENT protocol onchip and also features diagnostics for broken tracks and enhanced PWL back-end calibration for the output transfer characteristic. The sensor has passed the qualifications based on AEC-Q100 (Grade 0). Applications include underhood EGR, manifold actuation, diesel throttle body, and drive-by-wire pedals.
