The company's full-time staff has grown by more than 80% in the past three years, from 77 to 130 worldwide, including 95 in Melbourne. AuthenTec recently consolidated two Melbourne operations into one newly expanded office location at 100 Rialto Place.

AuthenTec recently signed a multi-year lease with the Rialto Place and has expanded its total office space from 28,000 sq. ft. at two locations to one location with 37,000 sq. ft. for offices, a test floor, and packaging, reliability, and applications labs. The Rialto Place location serves as the company's headquarters and its U.S. base of operations for silicon design, packaging development, software creation, marketing, finance/accounting, and executive administration. The company also has a large design, applications, and software center in Shanghai, a sales office and application center in Tokyo, as well as other sales and application locations worldwide.
