The Deeter Group, Hughenden Valley, U.K., now offers ATEX-certified load cells for industrial weighing applications. The sensors are available in lever-mount, cantilever, shear-beam, folded shear-beam, and master-mount form factors and in weight ranges from 10 kg to 50 tonnes. Intended for use in hazardous environments, the load cells meet ATEX Directive 94/9/EC. Applications include weigh platforms, tank and vessel weighing, bag filling machines and conveyors, belt weighers, mixers, catalyst vessels, and silo and vessel weighing for material storage and food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and general bulk-handling industries.
