Strategic Test Corp., Woburn, MA, offers the UF2e-6011 two-channel, 20 Msps, 14-bit arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) PCI Express card. Each channel has its own 14-bit DAC and a choice of 3 reconstruction filters to give bandwidths of 5 MHz, 1 MHz, or 100 kHz. No-filter option is software-selectable. Typical SNR is better than 61.5 dB, THD is <70.4 dB, and SFDR is >85.5 dB. Boards have 128 Msamples (256 MB) of signal memory standard, expandable to 2 Gsamples (4 GB) through an onboard DIMM module. Applications include I&Q signal generation, radar system development, communications testing, laser positioning, and HDTV signal generation.
