VTI Instruments Corp., Irvine, CA, offers the EX1200-3604 and EX1200-3608 arbitrary waveform generating modules that provide 8 or 4 independent channels of isolated DAC capability with 16-bit resolution. Each channel is true differential and has sense lines that can be used to compensate for voltage drops that occur over the length of test system cabling between the DAC output and the device under test. Features include multiple programmable ranges, ability to generate up to ±20 V, ability to source 20 mA/channel, ability to combine channels, ability to generate waveform patterns at up to 500 Ksps, and the ability to configure the device for synchronous or asynchronous operation.
