Alloy Sorter from Koslow Scientific
Koslow Scientific Co.

The TE-3000 from Koslow Scientific Co., Englewood, NJ, uses the thermoelectric effect to identify SS and nickel alloys. Touch the heated probe to the alloy and the characteristic thermoelectric numbers of the alloy are displayed on the meter; you can then compare the readings with a standard alloy sample of the same material or with a list of alloys and their thermoelectric readings. You can make measurements on pieces of virtually any size or shape.
