Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, offers the PIC18F45J10 family of 8-bit general-purpose microcontrollers that operate at 40 MHz at 3 V and have 32 KB of Flash program memory. Other features include 10-bit ADC with 10 or 13 channels, 1 enhanced capture compare PWM and up to 2 standard capture compares, up to 2 SPI and 2 Master I²C serial communication ports, 1 enhanced USART, 2 comparators, one 8-bit timer, and two 16-bit timers.
