Debuting in a wider temperature range, H grade version, the LT3007 PNP-based low-dropout (LDO) regulator specifies a 3 µA quiescent current. Input voltage spans 2V to 45V with an adjustable output voltage ranging from 0.6V to 44.5V. The LT3007’s pin-out is Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) compliant, so the output stays at or below the regulation voltage during an adjacent pin short event, or if a pin is left floating. Other features include up to 20 mA of output current with a corresponding low dropout voltage of 300 mV and output voltage tolerance regulated to within ±2% over line, load and temperature.
