The Gocator 2000 family of 3D laser line profile sensors from LMI Technologies Inc., Delta, BC, Canada, are targeted for factory automation and provide flexibility and ease of use. Features include a built-in Web server; stand-alone operation; the ability to buddy sensors to enable more sophisticated differential measurement tasks and to use multiple sensors to create a networked system to scan large objects; ability to configure the measurement area, speed, exposure, resolution, triggering, and output to suit applications needs; and a scan rate of approx. 200 Hz. Clearance distance varies from 90 mm (Model 2030) to 350 mm (Model 2080) with respective measurement ranges of 80 mm and 800 mm.
