Promising fast wireless mobile device charging, the TC7765WBG wireless power receiver controller IC effectively manages 12W power transfers and is compatible with the Qi low-power specification version 1.1 defined by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). The device uses the company's mixed-signal process using a MOSFET design that maximizes power efficiency and thermal performance. It combines modulation and control circuitry with a rectifier power pickup, I2C interface, and circuit protection functions. In a WCSP-28 package measuring 2.4 mm x 3.67 mm x 0.5 mm, the TC7765WBG will be available at the end of this month, with mass production set to begin in the second quarter.
