Tailored for field-deployed range finders, the CVLL 350-CL90 1,550-nm pulsed laser diode integrates a micro lens that delivers a far-field beam pattern. The beam pattern’s divergence is equivalent in both the fast (perpendicular) and the slow (parallel) axes of emission. Beam divergence (FWHM) is 8º x 8º. Hermetically sealed in a 9 mm package, the component operates in wavelengths ranging from 1530 nm to 1580 nm, with 1550 nm typical. Operating temperature is 25ºC, the pulse width is typically 150 ns, and frequency is 5 kHz.
